the campaign

On November 5th, 2017, Yoann Richomme and Pierre Lacaze will depart from France in a sailboat to South America on a two-week long, cross-Atlantic race. Why? To bring awareness and raise US$500,000 for social projects geared towards youth in Rio de Janeiro and Brazil.

the race

The legendary “Transat Jacques Vabre” race is an unforgiving race along the historical coffee trade route: some 4,000 nautical miles across the Atlantic, through the Azores High and Equator doldrums.
