Support affected communities in Rio Grande do Sul

In the wake of devastating flooding in Brazil, AGCO, through its AGCO Agriculture Foundation, is working with the BrazilFoundation to mobilize funds for crisis support and long-term recovery efforts for impacted communities in Brazil’s Rio Grande do Sul region.

Support our Brazil Flood – SOS RS

The Flood Situation

The recent catastrophic floods have significantly affected Brazil’s Rio Grande do Sul region. The historic heavy rain levels have led to the loss of lives, and forced many people from their homes and impacted livelihoods and economic activities.

AGCO is devastated and deeply touched by the emergency caused by the rains and floods in Rio Grande do Sul. This state is our home, with five of our factories located in the state (Canoas, Marau, Passo Fundo, Ibirubá and Santa Rosa). We are dedicated to providing support and assistance to the more than 3,400 employees and their families who have been immensely impacted in the state. AGCO’s Brazilian teams have been working tirelessly to provide humanitarian aid to its fellow employees and local communities – including collecting and distributing donations, providing shelter and preparing and serving thousands of meals.

How to Support

The Brazil Flood SOS RS Fund, created by AGCO Agriculture Foundation in partnership with BrazilFoundation, is now taking donations from AGCO employees, dealers, partners and friends.

With your generous donations, the AGCO Agriculture Foundation will work with BrazilFoundation to connect with other nonprofit partners to provide emergency relief and recovery support to the impacted communities in Brazil’s Rio Grande do Sul region.

Donating to the Brazil Flood Response Fund set up by the AGCO Agriculture Foundation through BrazilFoundation is a safe and effective way to Team Up! to support affected communities during this time of incredible need. Donations from the U.S. are eligible for a tax exemption.
