Fundação Estudar

Creating opportunities for youth to develop and transform Brazil

Founded by Jorge Paulo Lemann, Marcel Telles and Beto Sicupira in 1991, Fundação Estudar is a non-profit organization that invests in the development of high-potential young people who will transform Brazil through work in various sectors. Since 1991, Fundação Estudar has been working to support the studies and career-paths of university students and recently-graduated Brazilians who wish to transform their country. Fundação Estudar believes that Brazil can become a better country if there were more young people who were determined to create an impact. In order to do this, they created three pillars: developing leaders through the Lideres Estudar program, encouraging study abroad – in correspondence with the Programa Estudar Fora – and providing career counseling through Estudar na Prática.

Over 15 million youths from around Brazil have been impacted by Fundação Estudar. Some of the programs and activities offered include: professional development, integration in the labor market and financial support to strengthen leadership, scholarship opportunities and orientation for overseas academic experience, and courses and tips that stimulate better decisions and can leverage careers.
