Inequality in Brazil imposes limitations to many children and teenagers regarding their aspirations for the future. Janelas Abertas works to eliminate the social barrier that keeps those extraordinary young people from reaching their full potential.

Janelas Abertas is an independent nonprofit association that gives talented low-income students an opportunity to study at Escola Eleva, a bilingual, full-time school. At Escola Eleva, academic excellence is a fundamental pillar. They also help to develop communication and social-emotional skills to help educate students to be global citizens.

Together, Janelas Abertas and Escola Eleva support Escola Eleva’s Scholarship Program. For each dollar donated, Escola Eleva will double the given value. Currently, there are 74 students in the Program. Your donation will significantly expand the Scholarship Program and maximize its impact.

• Ensure that promising low-income youth have a quality education so they can fulfill their potential and be able to explore more opportunities;
