The Event

The Dinner for Minas Gerais raised R$150,000 for socio-environmental initiatives in Minas Gerais through the BrazilFoundation Minas Fund.

The Fund was initially created to invest in socio-environmental initiatives in the Rio Doce region, as response to the dam disaster in Mariana. However, as BrazilFoundation received an overwhelming 160 applications from Minas Gerais during its last call for proposals, the Fund will eventually support projects throughout the state, as to meet this high demand.
