Projects We Love – #TEAMRIO

Created in partnership with Massimo Bottura (Food for Soul) and journalist Ale Forbes, Refettorio Gastromotiva is a restaurant-school that was launched during the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Together with guest chefs, youth Gastromotiva trainees from Rio created upscale dishes using unused food from the Olympic Village, reducing food waste and providing meals for residents in need. In October, the restaurant plans to open to the public for lunch, while remaining as a free soup kitchen in the evening.
