Luz Alliance Fund of BrazilFoundation
Support for social-environmental initiatives to help rehabilitate Brazilian biomes

Objective
In line with the UN Decade of Ecosystem Restoration goals, the Luz Alliance Fund’s focus in 2022 is to support civil society organizations working to preserve and rehabilitate ecosystems for the good of both people and nature. Brazil is the most biodiverse place on the planet, with each of its biomes hosting a variety of vegetation and fauna.
The seven organizations chosen in partnership with BrazilFoundation represent each of Brazil’s biomes: Amazônia, Caatinga, Cerrado, Mata Atlântica, Pampa and Pantanal, as well as the Coastal Marine regions. The projects aim to support biodiversity conservation and to protect natural ecosystems, species and water sources, promoting more sustainable livelihoods.
