Aprendendo e Brincando com nossos filhos
The Praticável organization brings children and teenagers together with their mothers in a space where integration is seen as a path to mitigating the risks they live with on a daily basis. While the mothers work with sewing, children participate in art-education projects.
With the BrazilFoundation grant, the work began to take place in a structured space, where women of the community had workshops in cutting fabric, sewing, embroidery and other handicrafts made of cloth to be sold. The work focused on psychosocial assistance and the women had a chance to participate in group discussions guided by psychologists.
