“Aquilombar: Strengthening the Afro-Entrepreneurial Network” is a project by the Move Cultura Association, to be developed with the support of the Black Entrepreneurship Fund from BrazilFoundation, in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte and Baixada Fluminense. Creative economy enterprises will receive support through formative processes using methodologies of social innovation, leadership, and business modeling, drawing on the 14 years of experience of Move Cultura. The project aligns with the Afro-Entrepreneurial Cultural Network of the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte and the dimension of “ParaComDas,” a project formulated by Black individuals, with Black individuals, and for Black people and territories, taking into account the necessary sensitivity in its execution precisely because it is formulated by individuals whose lives are affected by racism and who experience it in their daily lives.
