The right to health implies individual and collective beliefs. To promote this basic right, it is important to be informed of these beliefs. This project was implemented in a community known for its lack of basic services and it consisted of educating the community regarding basic health issues and the environment.
As part of the project’s legacy, various action plans were developed, such as a workshop on the production of ecological soap. The battle to build a community balanced on the fundamental principles of human rights and environmental protection empowered community members to articulate the need for public services in these areas.
