Ensina Brasil is a non-profit organization dedicated to mobilizing talent and developing leadership to transform Brazilian education, starting at the school level. It is part of the global Teach For All network, which operates in over 60 countries and is inspired by Teach for America, one of the largest non-profit organizations in the United States.
Since its launch in 2017, Ensina Brasil has grown to become one of the largest independent education organizations in the country. It has also been recognized as one of the top 100 NGOs in Brazil, celebrated for its significant contributions to public education.

Our Program
The education provided to Brazilian students has not enabled them to develop their full potential or access opportunities equitably. The challenges in education are numerous, complex, and systemic. To change this situation, we need more transformative leaders working at various levels of this ecosystem. In this context, Ensina Brasil aims to empower individuals capable of collectively leading transformations in Brazilian education.
Similar to a trainee program, our Ensina Program recruits, selects, and develops young talents who are graduates from the country’s top universities to become teachers in public schools in vulnerable contexts for at least two years. Through this experience, they develop as future leaders, multiplying their impact to transform education in the country.
