The Fefig Education Fund
The Instituto Fefig Fund was created to expand the reach and sustainability of the Institute’s educational initiatives, whose mission is to promote quality education as a driver of social transformation.
Donations will support the development and expansion of Instituto Fefig’s educational programs, strengthening literacy, access to reading, and the quality of education, impacting public school students, educators, and school communities across different regions of Brazil.

Instituto Fefig works to strengthen public education in Brazil through programs that support schools, educators, and students in socially vulnerable areas, developing and supporting initiatives focused on strengthening literacy, early childhood education, and teacher development.
Working in partnership with public education systems and civil society organizations, the Institute seeks to create lasting impact in schools and expand opportunities for children in vulnerable communities.

Instituto Fefig’s mission is to promote quality education as a driver of social transformation. Since 2018, Instituto Fefig has impacted 329,726 public-school children across 8 Brazilian states and 77 municipalities, supporting 2,417 schools, 20,226 teachers, and 3,794 school leaders through educational programs.

BrazilFoundation retains exclusive legal responsibility for all donations. The foundation considers donor recommendations after ensuring that grantees qualify for charitable funding under U.S. and Brazilian laws.
U.S.: BrazilFoundation is a non-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Tax Code, EIN 13-4131482. Contributions to BrazilFoundation are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Brazil: BrazilFoundation is a nonprofit organization, designated as a Public Interest Civil Society Organization (OSCIP, as per its initials in Portuguese) under Law 9.790/99, Ministry of Justice file no. 08071.000389/2004/01, Corporate Taxpayer Registration No. 04.839.572/0001-10. A donation receipt will be issued for donations made in Brazilian reais upon request.
