Heliópolis is the São Paulo’s largest favela, shaped by social inequalities but also by a strong history of community mobilization and cultural production. Baccarelli was founded there in 1996, using education as a tool to broaden horizons and create opportunities.
With particular attention to populations facing social vulnerability, Baccarelli’s different areas of work expand opportunities for children, young people, families, and communities.
Sustaining long-term social impact depends on a diverse and committed network of donors and supporters.
The Baccarelli Fund expands this network internationally, enabling individuals and organizations from around the world to become part of a story that began in Heliópolis and today creates a positive impact across 24 areas of São Paulo.
The funds raised will contribute to the maintenance and long-term sustainability of Baccarelli’s activities, supporting education, culture, inclusion, social services, and human development initiatives, as well as the infrastructure needed to ensure these programs continue to be offered free of charge and with a high standard of quality.
