Mapa do Acolhimento

Mapa do Acolhimento works to combat violence against women through a free, qualified, and humanized support network that connects women survivors of gender-based violence to volunteer psychologists and lawyers in more than 900 Brazilian municipalities. Since 2016, more than 15,000 women have received support.

The organization carries out social mobilization efforts, produces and shares information on gender-based violence, and strengthens the support network — while also advocating for policies that ensure protection, access to justice, and pathways for women in situations of violence to rebuild their lives.
