The III BrazilFoundation Gala Miami will take place on March 15, 2014 at the recently inaugurated Pérez Art Museum Miami. Two individuals will be honored their involvement in social causes: Paula Senna will receive an award on behalf the Ayrton Senna Institute, an organization that strives to improve education in Brazil through research, and José Dias Campos, the executive director of the Center for Popular Education and Social Formation (CEPFS), an organization that promotes sustainable development in the semiarid region of Pernambuco. The III BrazilFoundation Gala Miami will also present Ivete Sangalo with the Global Brazilian Awardin recognition for her unique 20 year music career and her commitment to social causes. Darleen Callaghan, the director of the Miami City Ballet School, will receive the International Philanthropy Award.
