BrazilFoundation was present at the 12th GIFE Congress, the largest meeting on social investment and strategic philanthropy in the country, whose theme was “Challenging Structures of Inequality”. Monica de Roure, our Vice-President and Director of Institutional Relations, was a speaker on the panel that discussed the challenges of philanthropy in Latin America.
The event brought together leaders from the sector, representatives of CSOs, academics, consultants, and representatives of the government to discuss the importance of Brazilian Private Social Investment in contributing to democracy and building sustainable solutions in Brazil.
On the occasion, we had the opportunity to meet various partners from companies, peer institutions, and supporting organizations and civil society organizations from our network.
