2020 Call for Proposals Receives Record Number of Proposals

We received 1,677 proposals – our highest number ever – through this year’s Call For Proposals. A large number of them – 43% – are in Education and Culture. We received 170 projects in the Environment category, a new thematic area of support that we launched through this Call for Proposals.

Over the following weeks BrazilFoundation will be totally immersed in the grantee selection process. In this first round, our technical team will read and analyze all of the proposals to decide who will qualify for the second round. Those who qualify will be notified by late April and be scheduled for interviews and site visits by the BrazilFoundation team.

We will publish the list of final chosen organizations at the end of May on our website (brazilfoundation.org).
