Songs for the World

The Event
We invite you to join us on January 28, 2020 at the traditional Jazz Bar 54 Below for the concert Songs for the World. All event proceeds will benefit BrazilFoundation.
The concert features songs ranging in style from Bossa Nova and Samba to the big 80’s hits, performed by 25 young artists with credits on Broadway, off Broadway and TV.
Songs for the World is the brainchild of 16 year old Julia Lipsztein, who like many youngsters of her generation, is passionate about social causes and caring for the environment:
"My dream is to restore Brazil to the beautiful and proud country it once was. As a performer, I think it is important to use your voice to show people that change can be made. I believe in kindness and love. I believe in teaching the new generation about giving back, and showing that kindness does not need a reason.” - Julia Lipsztein
"We at BrazilFoundation are very thankful for Julia’s initiative and happy to see a new generation of engaged philanthropists taking action." - Rebecca R. Tavares, CEO and President, BrazilFoundation
