Diva Moreira
Human Rights Award
Political scientist, journalist, and activist Diva Moreira promotes human rights and Black women’s equality. She founded Casa Dandara, one of Brazil’s first Black women’s organizations, in Belo Horizonte. Casa Dandara promotes health, education and culture, and has been a leader in affirming the Statute of the Child and Adolescent in Brazil (ECA).

Socio-environmental Leadership Award
FAS is recognized as a guardian of the rainforest. FAS supports communities of the Amazon region with education and entrepreneurship training with a focus on sustainable environmental conservation and strengthening of the bio economy. FAS has significantly improved incomes and education of thousands of families in Amazonian communities.
 
Lia Aguiar
Philanthropy Leadership Award
Philanthropist Lia Aguiar founded the Lia Maria Aguiar Foundation fifteen years ago to benefit residents of Campos do Jordão in Sao Paulo with access to health, education, culture, and art. Dona Lia is personally committed to transforming the lives of children and youth.
 
Rachel Maia
Sustainable Development Goals Award
Rachel Maia is Chair of the Board of the United Nations Global Compact in Brazil. She serves as Ambassador for SDG Five: Gender Equality. As a leading corporate CEO most recently of RM Consulting specialized in ESG and Leadership, Rachel also founded CAPACITA-ME to train low income people for the labor force.
