Vozes das Periferias’ mission is to democratize transformative opportunities for children, young people, and adults in the favelas of Vila Prudente and Jardim Sinhá, in the eastern region of São Paulo. With the funds raised, we will continue our mission to expand access to opportunities in the favelas and peripheries of Vila Prudente and Jardim Sinhá.

The Vozes das Periferias Institute | Network Gerando Falcões is the first organization to implement the network’s social technologies to transform the favelas of Vila Prudente and Jardim Sinhá. Over the past 11 years, we have democratized opportunities for 250,000 people, including children, young people, and adults, and we are transforming the Haiti Favela into a 3D community (Dignified, Digital, and Developed).
Our work focuses on culture and sports for children and young people aged 6 to 17, professional qualification and income generation for young people and adults aged 14 to 59, and community communication and entrepreneurship for the general public.

Vozes das Periferias is a non-governmental organization recognized for its impact, management, and transparency model by Ambev, Selo Doar, Gerando Falcões, and Instituto Cyrela. Its work in providing opportunities for education, culture, sports, professional qualification, income generation, community communication, and tactical urbanism transforms the lives of 1,800 people every month. Over 11 years, it has been recognized by Folha de São Paulo, Globo, and other major media outlets.

BrazilFoundation retains exclusive legal responsibility for all donations. The foundation considers donor recommendations after ensuring that grantees qualify for charitable funding under U.S. and Brazilian laws.
U.S.: BrazilFoundation is a non-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Tax Code, EIN 13-4131482. Contributions to BrazilFoundation are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Brazil: BrazilFoundation is a nonprofit organization, designated as a Public Interest Civil Society Organization (OSCIP, as per its initials in Portuguese) under Law 9.790/99, Ministry of Justice file no. 08071.000389/2004/01, Corporate Taxpayer Registration No. 04.839.572/0001-10. A donation receipt will be issued for donations made in Brazilian reais upon request.
