About Instituto Reação
Founded 21 years ago by former athlete and Olympic medalist Flávio Canto, his former coach Geraldo Bernardes and friends, Instituto Reação is a Civil Society Organization that promotes human development and social integration through sport and education. The proposal is to have sport as na educational and social transformation tool, forming black belts in and out the mat.
The Institute offers its “Powerful Path”, based on two structuring programs: “Future Reaction” and “Olympics”, and also three transversal programs: “Scholarship”, “ Connects” and “Reação com Elas”. Its objective is to accompany children from the age of four to their first job and our fundamental atributes teach how to fall and get up as constant learning, using three precepts: build, conquer and share. Reação has 12 centers spread acrross five Brazilian states: Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Cuiabá, Rio Grande do Norte and Minas Gerais, benefiting around 4,000 children and young people.
