“I love my job. I’m learning a lot and intend to grow at Tyco Fire.” These are the plans of 20 year-old Mário Aguiar Bellíssimo, one of 49 students who graduated from the Electronic Security course promoted by the Carioca Fund in partnership with Tyco, the Marquês de Salamanca Institute, and the Secretary of State of Education in Rio de Janeiro. Two classes have already graduated, while the third is being planned with changes geared toward increased job market candidacy.
Of the two groups, eight graduates currently work for companies that collaborate with Tyco. For Carlos Pereira, the regional sales manager of Tyco Security Products, the results are excellent: “This market requires a high volume of professionals. The two courses exceeded expectations and were well received by the electronic security community. Our sales professionals are in constant commercial contact with the members and tirelessly work for students’ opportunities.”
According to the coordinator of the Carioca Fund, Eliane Berman, the idea is to learn from previous lessons to arrive at even better results. “The role of the Carioca Fund is to articulate the partnership among all those involved in the process to attend to both the businesses and the youths.
