Transformando o Mundo, Reinventando o Futuro

The ABRAÇO was created in 2001 to democratize communication in the State of Amapá. The organization, led by women, holds seminars and workshops in various community organizations in the city to strengthen community connections. The project “Transformando o Mundo, Reinventando o Futuro” trained 30 women in popular communications to create radio programs and broadcast information about women’s rights in a region of Brazil with high indices of violence against women.
