The association emerged as an approach to the fight to secure the rights of children and adolescents with hearing disabilities in the city of Campinas in Sao Paulo. The services that the association provides to the hearing impaired and their families follow a multidisciplinary approach, which is aimed to promote personal development and to enable interaction between the hearing impaired and the non-hearing impaired.
Through the support of BrazilFoundation, the association worked on the integration between parents and children through workshops and sign language workshops to strengthen communication and understanding between them.
