The Associação de Pais e Mestres da Escola Antônio Ursulino Alves works to encourage the involvement of parents, students, and teachers in creating proposals and demanding action from public authorities. The project supported by BrazilFoundation trained teachers of public school in cross-discipline subjects and trained a group of parents, students, and employees to oversee the financial management of the school. The project also enabled the installation of a computer lab.
