Nutrindo-se com a Comunidade
The Associação Plantando Paz na Terra develops social and environmental programs in the areas of education, research, and the development of deprived areas in Campinas. With the support of the BrazilFoundation, the project “Nutrindo-se com a Comunidade” held workshops on hygiene, conservation, and the preparation of food produced in community gardens by 20 women of the Vila Brandina slum. In addition to the revitalization of the area, 20 families benefited directly from the production of vegetables, and the project helped to legalize the occupation of public land by the Association.
