Associação Redes da Maré
Redes da Maré seeks to ensure the rights of the population of the 16 favelas of Maré, the largest in Rio de Janeiro, with 140,000 inhabitants. It works along five strategic lines: education, health, security and justice; urban and socio-environmental rights; and art, culture, memories and identities, weaving the networks needed to achieve this goal.
