A Defesa do Direito à Educação de Crianças e Adolescentes
The Center is a human rights organization that monitors children and adolescents rights violations of the action or omission of public authorities. Through civil actions, the organization ensures that governments fulfill their constitutional obligations.
Through the project, children from two low-income communities on the outskirts of Fortaleza, neighborhoods with high levels of violence, were trained about their rights. Complaints of human rights violations against children in the region were filed. The support of BrazilFoundation enabled the defense of education as a fundamental right.
