ANIMA promotes the development of traditional communities motivating people to participate in projects that generate income as an alternative to unemployment and as a sustainable means of survival. With the support of the BrazilFoundation, several women, the majority of whom were descendants of indigenous people, were trained to make saddle blankets, and their products were sold throughout the region.
