BrazilFoundation will promote the Carioca Fund second meeting on Wednesday, February 23rd, 2011 at Firjan, in downtown Rio de Janeiro. The Carioca Fund is a BrazilFoundation initiative that mobilizes NGOs in Rio de Janeiro that work with the local youth. The objective is to facilitate the means for the youth to complete high school, to have access to vocational training, university studies, enabling them to be better prepared to compete in the job market.
During the event, BrazilFoundation will present the Fund’s pilot project, which is taking place in Santa Teresa.
