30 youths graduated from the Curso de Instalador de Sistema Eletrônico de Segurança, (Electronic Security System Installer Course), an initiative of a partnership between BrazilFoundation, the Carioca Fund, Tyco and Galpão Aplauso. After six months of hard work, the youths are now better prepared to enter the labor market. The course consisted of technical classes with Tyco employees, which is a benchmark in the industry, and workshops on “Values and Virtues,” a Galpão Aplauso method that encourages personal development in students. The graduation took place on October 23 at Galpão Aplauso and was attended by representatives of Tyco and BrazilFoundation, as well as friends and family of the graduates.
