BrazilFoundation launched its Young Fellows program in New York yesterday, with the goal of engaging youth and young professionals to collaborate on initiatives for ideas and actions that transform Brazil. Organized by Julia de Azevedo, Bruna Braga and Ricardo Martiniski, long-time supporters of BrazilFoundation, dozens of young professionals and university students from the New York area brainstormed ways in which each one can mobilize resources and activate their networks for a better Brazil. “Each one of us can help in some way, we all have something to contribute, and we can all make a difference.” – one student noted. The Young Fellows hope to hold fundraising events in the near future, create project mentoring opportunities, and establish more Young Fellow programs in the other BrazilFoundation chapters.
