New York release of BrazilFoundation book, Brazil, Brasil–10 years, One Idea, Many Stories.

After release parties in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, the book Brazil, Brazil – 10 Years, One Idea, Many Stories was released last night in New York at the store of Brazilian jeweler H.Stern. Written by Brazilian journalist Mauro Ventura, the book narrates the Foundation’s first ten years of existence. H.Stern donated 10% of sales from the event to BrazilFoundation that will be invested in social projects in Brazil.

 

BrazilFoundation Founding President Leona Forman hosted the event and signed books for guests. Ambassador Ana Cabral, the new Consul general of Brazil to New York, was a special guest at the event.  Mariana Zois, Hélio Campos, and Sergio and Malu Millerman, among many others, also attended the event.

 

The book recounts the start and development of BrazilFoundation, along with stories from its first ten years of work, highlighting 20 organizations that received support from the Foundation over this time span. The book is available online for download on the BrazilFoundation website, where  you can also learn more about the work and reach of the Foundation.
