Tecnomoda no Semi-Àrido

The Association worked in the municipality of Tejuçuoca to promote the strengthening of rural communities. The Tecnomoda no Semi-Árido project trained 25 youth in the manufacturing of clothing. They were taught design and fashion, with emphasis on the use of the traditional embroidery, creating a collection of clothing that was presented in a fashion show. The project helped to promote regional sustainable development, reinforcing the value of a local cultural tradition.
