Cri-ação Gepeto
Center of Defense and Rights of Children and Adolecents of Ijuí offers psychosocial and educational programs to children and teenagers who have broken the law and are on probation and doing community service. The project Cri-ação Gepeto aims to rescue the meaning of citizenship through the production of wooden toys and the learning of cooperative values.
With the support of BrazilFoundation, over 200 children were able to participate in workshops and learn to produce wooden toys. The project represented an opportunity for reintegration into their social environments and for generating income.
