Teatro Ação
The Center works to ensure the rights of children and adolescents in Recife, Pernambuco. Teatro Ação Project, supported by BrazilFoundation, involves art and education activities targeting young people in conflict with the law, in order to develop their creativity and contribute to strengthening their cultural identity. The youth participated in the presentation of theatrical pieces that addressed issues from their own daily lives. Thirty cultural agents were trained through the project, using theater/acting as way to disseminate information.
