Brotinhos do Riacho Olho D’Água

Along the banks of the Riacho Olho D’Água river, families suffer the consequences of environmental degradation. The project intends to raise awareness of environmental issues through coordinated local efforts to plant trees. The project will work with 72 families, 17 teachers and over 1000 students on environmental protection. A handbook will be produced and six teenagers will be trained as leaders conducting informational meetings with members of the community about environmental issues.
