CEDENPA will be working with communities in the state of Pará who are beyond the reach of public education policies.The project’s goal is to promote literacy amoung 45 quilombo residents and 15 other Afro-Brazilians from poor communities, while highlighting and valuing Afro-Brazilian culture, and raising the collective self-esteem of quilombolas.
