Palco para Todos

The project “Palco para Todos” offered cultural and theatrical activities to 60 young residents of Barros Filho, one of the poorest and most violent neighborhoods in Rio de Janeiro. The project contributed to the reduction of the school drop-out rate and encouraged a sense of belonging in the community among youth, ages 14 to 21. At the same time, the project offered professional orientation workshops to help these young people enter the job market.
