Curso de Formação de Instrutores de LIBRAS
Approximately 2% of the Brazilian population is deaf or hearing impaired. Developing programs to improve quality of life and help the deaf reach their full human potential is the constant aim of FENEIS. In its 18 years of experience, FENEIS has seen that the majority of deaf people interested in teaching the LIBRAS sign language cannot afford to become certified.
This project will professionally train and certify 30 deaf individuals as LIBRAS instructors for immediate insertion into the job market. Placing these individuals in this in-demand field will not only provide them with income, but also with a dignified livelihood.
