Unfortunately, there is a lack of qualified labor force to meet the potential employment opportunities in such a high-growth city. Unemployment is high, particularly amongst youth in the city’s periphery.
Gastromotiva provides practical instruction to young people interested in the food industry, using the culinary arts as a means of social and economic inclusion. With BrazilFoundation’s support, Gastromotiva will offer practical and theoretical instruction in culinary arts, event planning, helping to promote a spirit entrepreneurship, preparing low income youth for the job market and supporting the development of further social ventures.
