Founded in 1987, the Group works to integrate the youth of Marajo, in the State of Pará, into society through socio-cultural activities that rescue, preserve, and disseminate their culture. The project supported by BrazilFoundation offered workshops on sewing and the embroidery of costumes and set pieces used in cultural events to encourage young people to value these aspects of traditional Brazilian culture.
