The Amazon’s cultural, political and ethnic complexity presents numerous challenges and opportunities to a population living in poverty. Despite an abundance of natural resources, the residents of the Amazon have little access to market goods, and unable to sustain sufficient income and a decent quality of life. ISAD’s mission is to promote and empower economic initiatives in the region.

In partnership with BrazilFoundation, ISAD will organize 10 economic fairs, bringing together over 50 businesses to raise money, promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for low-income residents from various populations around the capital and in riverside communities.
