Povos Indígenas: Resistência, Esperança e Autonomia

The indigenous populations of Brazil face difficult challenges in preserving their culture. The institute was created in 2007 to promote the history and traditions of the indigenous people. This project trained young indigenous leaders to represent their people in public policy forums, to help preserve and spread knowledge about their culture, and to defend their status as full citizens.
