Capacitação e Geração de Trabalho e Renda em Rizipiscicultura
The Institute has a work-training center in the Filhos de Sepé settlement, in the municipality of Viamão, training the local population in the construction of cisterns (water saving tanks) and producing food in an ecologically sustainable manner. The project supported by BrazilFoundation, trained the local population in alternate systems of planting rice and fish farming, using techniques that have minimal impact on the environment and do not employ chemicals or toxins.
