Escola de Desenvolvimento Local
The Institute was founded to develop programs that promote social entrepreneurship and sustainable development in the semi-arid Northeast of Brazil (known as the “Sertão”). With the support of the BrazilFoundation, the Escola de Desenvolvimento Local project trained youth leaders in rural Ceará on themes such as civic engagement, fair-trade, local culture, and strategic planning.
