Arte Fazendo Parte
Movimento Pró-Criança develops projects that target children and teenagers in the metropolitan area of Recife, where there are alarming rates of violence and poverty. The institution offers psychosocial assistance and art programs to youth in at-risk situations.
The project “Arte Fazendo Parte” taught drawing and ceramics to 40 participants in one of the three units of the Association. Among these youth participants, 14 reached a level of professional production, which allowed for the partnership with the Young Craftsman Training Program to form a network of training centers in various communities in the metropolitan region of Recife.
