BrazilFoundation and Tree of Life Foundation International Hold Benefit Lunch in Palm Beach, Florida

Event mobilizes more than US$28k for projects in the Amazon region

On Tuesday, December 10th, BrazilFoundation and Tree of Life Foundation International received 40 guests for a benefit lunch at the residence of Amanda Schumacher, Founder and President of Tree of Life Foundation.

The event’s objective was to mobilize resources to support BrazilFoundation grantees that promote preservation and sustainability in the Amazon.

In her speech, host Amanda Schumacher reinforced the importance of more privileged people to help those less fortunate than themselves, including people in the Amazon. Rebecca Tavares, President and CEO of BrazilFoundation, spoke about the current situation of the forest and the importance of supporting local communities to help preserve the region.
