BrazilFoundation joins the Pact for the Promotion of Racial Equity

BrazilFoundation joins the Pact for the Promotion of Racial Equity, which aims to eliminate racism through affirmative action and achieve a balance in racial diversity within the workplace.

The initiative’s purpose is to implement a Racial ESG Protocol in Brazil among large companies to advance racial equity as a key issue in Brazilian economic development; more than 200 companies are already participating.

The Pact challenges the private sector and private institutions to redress Brazil’s persistent racial and social inequalities with intelligent solutions.

Joining the Pact reinforces BrazilFoundation’s commitments to supporting black entrepreneurship initiatives and promoting civil society’s racial equity programs.

“We welcome BrazilFoundation, which joins forces with the Pact in strengthening the anti-racist philanthropy debate in the country.” – Gilberto Costa, Executive Director of the Pact for the Promotion of Racial Equity; Executive Director, JP Morgan/International Private Bank Latam and Global Families Group Operations Lead
