Coco Bambu Lunch in Miami Celebrates {Abrace o Brasil}

Last Saturday 150 people from the Miami Community gathered at Coco Bambu for a Carnival-themed benefit lunch. The afternoon included samba by Banda Samba RJ, an exhibition of photos from the #Abraceobrasilfoto competition, a commemoration of the {Abrace o Brasil} campaign, and a lunch of typical dishes from Brazil’s northeast.

A total of US$14,000 was raised to support BrazilFoundation’s mission. BrazilFoundation would like to thank sponsors Coco Bambu Miami Beach, Fortune International Realty, MBAF Certified Public Accountants and Advisors, Leblon Natural Cane Cachaça, Banda Samba RJ, and the host committee for helping make the event possible, The 55project for curating the photo exhibition, and to the dozens of children and families in the Miami region who participated in the Abrace o Brasil campaign by holding fundraisers and collecting donations.
